Our client is a leading financial institution, they are currently seeking for a Technical Manager to join their team.

Technical Manager

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business users and technical leaders to identify and execute a system roadmap and constructive IT refresher strategy to modernize the IT infrastructure
• Creating system design ideas and prepare architecture reports for corporate and strategic teams
• Recommend solutions to improve new and existing systems
• Educate staff members through training and individual support
• Perform daily and ad-hoc analysis of specifications for various structures on each part of the architecture
• Drive and promote standards and policies
• Provide advice and assistance, usually definitive, to all levels of engineers and users

Requirements:

• Degree holder in in Computer Science or Equivalent
• At least 4 years or above of information systems analysis/design and architecture development experience; consultancy experience in architecture engagements a distinct advantage
• Proficiency in Programming Languages (Java, PHP), Data Warehouse technology (SQL Server), Cloud technology (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive) and OS environment (Linux / Windows)
• Understanding of SDLC and Database
• Experience in project procedures have been written and executed to better analyze and suggest the right technology, method, or product
• Proficient in written and spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin
• Immediate available is highly preferred
