Our client is a Leading Finance Company, they are currently seeking for a Senior Manager (Data Management, Digitalisation Office) to join their team.
Senior Manager (Data Management, Digitalisation Office) (3 years contract)
Responsibilities:
- Support implementation of enterprise-wide data warehouses from platform selection, technical architecture design, implementing and testing the proposed solutions to enable optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources
- Manage ETL flow design, development, testing, implementation, and support Be responsible for hands-on data engineering works including understanding data models, preparing data for migration, data cleansing, and data reconciliation
- Build BI reports / dashboards / analytics tools that empower internal business units to utilise the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics
- Work with data management technologies for data integration, data quality and governance, data dictionary, master data management, data security and data linage
Requirements:
- University degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related disciplines
- A minimum of 5 years’ solid experience in data analytics, data engineering, data application / platform management
- Solid track record of sizable IT project experiences in data analytics, data warehouse, ETL (extract, transform, load), business intelligence reporting, data transformation, etc.

Strong technical knowledge in cloud data platform implementation (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc) in the banking, finance, and insurance industry is preferable

Experience in data architecture, data modelling, data pipeline design, data integration, and data quality solutions / tooling

Strong in SQL and proficient in Python is desirable

Experience in ETL / data integration (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Informatica, AWS Glue, etc) and business intelligent tooling (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc)

Experience with or knowledge of transitional rational database environments (e.g. Oracle, SQL server, DB2, etc)

Experience in banking, finance, and insurance industry is a plus

Logical, detailed-minded, and well-organised

Excellent proficiency in both English and Chinese with competent communication and presentation skills
