Merchandiser / Deputy Operation Manager
Our client is one of the overseas buying offices in Hong Kong. Their main business is sanitary, heating and electronic as well as construction. They are currently seeking for a Merchandiser to join their team.
Merchandiser
Responsibilities:
- Develop and agree plans in partnership with the Buyer that achieve sales and profit targets and implement the agreed departmental strategy
- Evaluate market and customer information together with historical data and forward trends to develop the department’s phased plans
- Present the range for review achieving senior management agreement
- Support the team on orders management & administrative work
- Monitor timing of new product development process
- Liaise daily with suppliers in China and buyers in Europe
- Product, packaging & Instruction manual artwork approval
- Diploma or above
- At least 5 years working experience in Buying Office/Trading Company (Professional Field is preferable)
- Experience in product, packaging & Instruction manual artwork approval
- Experienced in Range Planning
- Knowledge and experience of Photovoltaic, Heating, Ventilation & TOOL are preferable
- Commercial acumen and the ability to “decode” suppliers
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
- Strong listening, presentation and decision-making skills
- Excellent PC skills (English and Chinese)
