Our client is a HK based independent distributor of electronic components. 
 
Responsibilities:

• Handle internal RFQ and provide input to determine quoted cost to the customer that is competitive.
• Analyze and reduce components purchase price to meet the cost reduction goal.
• Monitoring, tracking and providing feedbacks on suppliers performance on overall cost, delivery, and quality.
• Understanding suppliers, their capabilities, market trending and technologies for assigned commodities.
• Managing commercial relationships with vendors.
• Purchase ordering and follow-up on schedule update.
• Coordinate with sales team.
• Handle internal and external reports.

 Requirements:

• Over 5 years experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing and suppliers network in electronics industry.
• Strong understanding of electronic component and EMS industry.
• High competency level in use of MS Office.
• SAP and other CRM systems knowledge is preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin); knowledge of other languages is a bonus.
•  Travel may be required internationally to visit suppliers.
