Our client is a multinational manufacturer and distributor of specialist fabrics for the theatre and events market.
Responsibilities:
- Service a network of customers or dealers in China and Taiwan and assist the Regional MD (Asia Region) in Korea.
- Support the local sales team in servicing a network of key customers in HK and Macau.
- Establish country specific networks based on regional or market specific exclusivity especially potential new dealers in China and Taiwan.
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers or dealers.
- Prepare reports for the Regional MD on set KPIs and market trends.
- Identify opportunities for the development of the brand including industry associations and opening a China office.
- Attend trade shows as a company representative.
- Meet with designers, architects, and consultants to support the design process and specify company products.
- Monitor competitor activity.
- Supervise Sales Executives that will handle inbound enquiries.
Requirements:
- Diploma or above in Business, Marketing or related disciplines.
- Over 5 years sales experience.
- Demonstrated success in B2B commodity selling roles.
- Experience in working for an international company is an advantage.
- Knowledge in Performing Arts and Live Events is preferable.
- Willing to travel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin.
- Less experienced candidates will be considered as a Regional Sales Executive.
