Brand Manager (Greater China)

Kwai Chung, Hong Kong
Our client is an integrated watch-making and marketing group with many years’ experience bringing well-known US and European watch brands to market.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute an integrated communications and branding strategy externally and internally.
  • Raise the brand awareness of our watch products and the group company in Mainland China.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategy and marketing plans in accordance to the brand image and drive luxury watch brand awareness, customer value & profitability.
  • Work closely with the internal and external parties to ensure all branding initiatives are conducted effectively.
  • Manage the budget (sales forecast; price strategy, profitability of the brand, P & L, etc).
  • Lead & drive wide range of luxury watch brand activities such as ATL and BTL campaign development, events management & delivery.
  • Conduct BTL & ATL activities and liaise with strategic partners for communications and promotions.
  • Examine market and competitors intelligence and react accordingly to thrive for larger market share.
  • Researching consumer markets, monitoring market trends and identifying potential areas in which to invest, based upon consumer needs and spending habits.
  • Overseeing the production of TV adverting, newspaper and magazine advertisements, direct mail packs, email campaigns, websites, exhibition stands, road shows and liaising with designers, copywriters, media and buyers.
  • Supervising the sign off of marketing literature and campaigns, liaising with legal and compliance personnel, ensuring the designs and messages meet the company brand and regulatory guidelines.
  • Lead the team to generate new ideas (mainly for events) and cost planning for sales to attract business opportunities.
  • Establish relationships with partners and sponsors to devise cross-brand synergies and mutual promotion.
  • Develop online contents and SEO strategy to ensure ranking highly for elected keywords.
 
Requirements:
  • University degree in Marketing / Communication or business related discipline.
  • At least 5 years relevant working experience in watch / jewellery/ fashion industry (including at least 2 years work as supervisor or management level).
  • Solid experience related marketing and brand building in China will be an advantage.
  • Traditional and digital marketing experience, knowledgeable in social media skills.
  • Good analytical skills and able to respond to results and consumer research.
  • Has business acumen, can multi-task with strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence and professionalism to deal with people on all levels, including senior management.
  • Good experience in event management and marketing collateral production.
  • Good PR experience and media relations will be an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Cantonese are essential.
  • Creative thinking, aggressive, responsive to change and able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Immediate available is highly preferable.
