Our client is a leading Electronic Components Distributor.
Responsibilities:
Support warehouse value-add operations and business to setup new facilities, consolidate locations, and expand operations with a focus on equipment, storage, space, and processing requirements.
Design, implement, optimize, and measure processes to execute service offerings.
Develop work and product flows, value stream analysis, time studies, and layout drawings.
Utilize change management techniques and actively work with operators and management to drive continuous improvement focusing on 5S, Lean/Kaizen, material handling, automation, and process waste methodologies.
Manage implementation projects and lead project teams.
Develop key performance indicators and monitor for improvement.
Resolve process, quality and productivity issues.
Present findings to management including execute updates.
Lead warehouse training and development programs.
Requirements:
Degree holder in Industrial Engineering or Process Re-engineering.
Good knowledge of Quality system (eg ISO) and quality management standards.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience managing and delivering warehouse related process development/ improvement projects.
Minimum of 2 years' experience managing remote employees.
Experience in managing warehouse, distribution and/or running a facility is preferred.
Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Certification is preferred.
Fluent in Cantonese and English (participation on international calls is required).
Proficient in warehouse management systems, MS Office, AutoCAD and Visio.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, business acumen, flexibility and adaptability.
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Manager.
