Legal & Compliance Manager
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal consultation and guidance to the business department, draft and review legal documents
- Handle legal affairs in investment, fund, and treasury management
- Responsible for legal review projects and general compliance matters
- Establish and implement risk management systems, legal compliance management, risk assessment, and risk management matters
- Coordinate and communicate with external legal counsel
- Assist in handling various legal and risk control matters
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above in Law, with priority given to those who have passed the judicial examination in mainland China or hold a Hong Kong lawyer's license, and are familiar with relevant laws and regulations in China and Hong Kong
- Minimum 5 years’ practical legal experience in law firms, corporate legal departments, or other relevant institutions, and be familiar with contract drafting, negotiation, and litigation
- Possess the ability to assess legal risks: can accurately assess and predict legal risks, propose corresponding risk response measures, and provide legal advice for the CEO's decision-making
- Able to quickly understand the company's business model and operational processes, and can combine legal requirements with business needs to provide practical legal solutions
- Have strong communication and coordination skills, able to collaborate effectively with internal departments and external law firms to solve legal problems
- Highly confidential and reliable, able to properly handle legal documents and sensitive information
- Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking, able to handle legal affairs involving English contracts and documents
