Data Migration Specialist

Our client is an authorized insurer to facilitate retirement financial planning through provision of annuity products in Hong Kong, they are currently seeking for a Data Migration Specialist to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate activities for the ETL processes, and migration of images/documents
• Manage internal teams and vendors to perform structure and un-structure data migration
• Communicate with all project stakeholders related to data migration activities
• Provide recommendations and improvements to the migration process
• Provide necessary change and support documentation
• Monitor and report the progress of the data migration plan at the project level
• Develop and implement QA processes, strategies and reconciliation to optimise data migration quality
• Identify data or programming problem
• Work with end-user and development team for data cleansing and program bug fixing

Requirements:

• Degree holder in IT or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of working experience, worked as a System Analyst, Develop, or DBA
• Experienced in data migration project with tracked record
• Experienced in DXC Life400 or Integral are highly preferable
• Technical expertise in data models, database design, SQL development, SQL tuning, and script programming
• Strong knowledge of and experience with Oracle database, programming (Linux Shell script, Window Batch script, PL-SQL, SQL tuning, and ETL frameworks)
• Strong understanding of Data Migration ETL Process
• Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese
