Senior Designer (UI/UX)

Our client is a sizable firm that focuses in innovation and technology.

Senior Designer (UI/UX) 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers and the development team to translate user stories/business requirements into digital experiences; 
  • Drive user research activities such as stakeholder interviews, surveys, A/B testing, usability testing, learning about user behaviour and translating research findings into possible solutions; 
  • Provide high-quality deliverables such as user journeys, user flows, wireframes, UI mock-ups and prototypes for digital platforms and products; 
  • Develop pixel-perfect UI and ensure design consistency between digital platforms; 
  • Support the testing after the design has been implemented and tackle the design issues with the development team; 
  • Present ideas to stakeholders and make recommendations in accordance with feedback; 
  • Manage external agencies for large-scale UI/UX design revamp; and 
  • Perform other jobs as assigned. 
Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Interactive / Multimedia / Visual Design or related disciplines; 
  • Min. 3 years of experience in UI/UX design, Interaction Design, preferably in technical, retail, banking and/or financial industries; 
  • Prior experience in UI/UX design of mobile apps and loyalty programs; 
  • A well-established knowledge in user centric designs, design language systems, visual design principles and interaction design; 
  • Highly proficient with design tools such as Sketch/Figma, InVision, Zeplin, and Adobe Creative Suite; 
  • Basic knowledge of programming (HTML/CSS & Javascript is an advantage); 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong sense of ownership, self-motivated, able to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment; 
  • Must be proactive to learn and explore new design trends, technologies and tools; 
  • A design portfolio with proven work is an advantage; and 
  • Good command of verbal and written Chinese and English.
