Energy Sales Engineer / Sales Manager

Our client is a Multinational Smart Infrastructure Company, they connects buildings and cities to make them smarter and more energy efficient. They help their customers to thrive, communities to progress and support sustainable development to protect our planet for the next generation. They are currently seeking for an Energy Sales Engineer / Sales Manager to join their team.

Energy Sales Engineer / Sales Manager (5 days work)

Responsibilities:

  • Connect and build relationship with existing and new customers to identify and qualify sales leads (develop sales funnel)
  • Coordinate with energy engineers to reveal EPS potentials and meet customer needs
  • Develop comprehensive proposal that includes technical solutions, BoQ, costing, financial solutions, overall cost savings and payback/ROI calculations
  • Make presentations representing our EPS department at customer meetings, seminars and the other organizations
  • Work with operations, finance, procurement, legal, and other inside and outside resources to obtain customer commitment
  • Conduct and finalize contract negotiation in coordination with the contract manager
  • Make required preparation for efficient project handover to Project Management
  • Keep current on market and business trends as well as local legislation in energy efficiency
  • Coordinate with other business units of the company working on energy efficiency and to contribute to the production of common strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or other field relevant to our business
  • 5+ years of consultative selling experience; energy performance contracting, renewable energy, building automation, energy storage project experience preferred
  • Technical knowledge of energy baseline, measurement & verification, energy management system, energy storage, solar energy systems, HVAC systems, pumps, compressed air units, industrial heat recovery, boilers and building management systems preferred
  • Basic knowledge of ESG management and commercial fundamentals
  • Strong teammate with good interpersonal skills and customer focused
  • Excellent communication skills at different levels up to the management level
  • Fluent English both written and spoken
