Our client is a Leading Finance Company, they are currently seeking for a Senior Project Manager (Digitalisation Office) to join their team.
Senior Project Manager (Digitalisation Office)
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to Vice President (Digitalisation Office), the Senior Project Manager (Digitalisation Office) will be responsible for (1) working collaboratively with internal business units (BUs) to define operational problems via in-depth investigation and gathering of functional specifications, (2) exploring innovative technology solutions for BUs to address their operational needs, and (3) manage end-to-end solution implementation. The incumbent will:
- work closely with BUs, such as through workshops, to identify user requirements and the business case for digitalisation projects;
- drive and participate in the full lifecycle of digital solution development, including project planning, ideation, design, development, budgeting, implementation, validation, roll-out, maintenance and enhancement in accordance with business needs and governance;
- engage and coordinate with various internal parties and external contributors (e.g. consultants and service providers) to design and develop innovative technology solutions;
- explore technology solutions and innovative approaches to improve business operations; and
- provide updates to stakeholders on project progress, risk, costs, and budgets.
- The employment will be on a 3-year contract term subject to renewal.
Requirements:
- University degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines;
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in digital product or project management, preferably in the banking, finance and insurance industry, large technology companies or professional consultancy services;
- Outgoing, self-driven, resilient, creative, attentive to details, responsible and a team player;
- Solid track record of driving digital transformation and managing complex projects, demonstrating knowledge and experience in technology products management as well as process re-engineering and outcome management;
- Knowledge in InsurTech / FinTech;
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of data management and standardisation would be an advantage; and
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese with good communication and presentation skills.
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Manager
