Assistant Engineering Manager, Quality Assurance
Responsibilities:
Responsible for technical project management of smart device products from pre-sales to EOL (End of Life), including regular products’ maintenance upgrades after-sales
Work closely with Test teams and R&D teams to drive for the best in class in service quality and user experience; manage and meet the launch schedules of new smart device products and services
Responsible for technical account management with mobile network operators, and manage technical acceptances of new smart device products
Plan, manage, and execute QA field test of new smart device products and services
Execute test cases and trouble-shoot issues in live networks; consolidate daily test reports and statistics
Partner with mobile network operators to deploy new technologies of smart device products to market
Ensured good quality of mobile services that can be launched to market and meet both internal and external expectations
Manage specifications and technical requirements of new smart device products
Technical support to business units and CS team
Requirements:
Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or relevant disciplines
5 years’ relevant experience in technical support on mobile devices and/or network
Strong project management skill and attentive to details
Strong knowledge and/or experience in telecommunication technologies; experience in Android system is a plus
Good problem solving and debugging skills
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
