Our client is a Leading Financial Institution, they invite bright and energetic candidate for the following vacancy:

Temporary Assistant Manager (Data Management) - Digitalisation Office

 Responsibilities:

  • Promote the end-to-end data management process for data acquisition and processing, data quality and governance for our Enterprise Data platform
  • Deploy a metadata management framework to cover data lineage, access control, data catalogue, data encryption, anonymisation, etc.
  • Design and support the implementation of data access rights and data handling processes
  • Develop best practices for group data management to minimise operational effort, automating processes where possible
  • Work closely with Data Stewards in various business areas to design and continuously refine and optimise our data governance process
  • Work closely with Data Architecture and Platform Engineering to continuously refine platform offerings and architecture
  • Act as a change agent and drive continuous improvement through stakeholder education, feedback collection and adoption of industry best practices
Requirements:
  • University degree in business information systems, information technology, computer science or related fields
  • Experience in data management and governance space. Candidates with less experience will also be considered.
  • Experience in setting up data management and governance processes for an enterprise particularly around data access control, metadata management, data quality and data lineage, and have proven record of accomplishment of delivery
  • Ability to successfully negotiate and collaborate with others of different skillsets, backgrounds and levels within the organisation
  • Experience in establishing an Enterprise Data Catalogue with both on premise and cloud-based infrastructure
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross functional teams with experience in delivering training and workshops
