Our client is a Global Electrical Products Company, they are currently seeking for an  Project Engineer (PLC/ Automation) to join their team.

Project Engineer (PLC/ Automation)

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for technical and project support of Electrical and EV charging products/ systems within Smart Infrastructure Division. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for smart grid application systems, including grid edge, demand respond and electric vehicle infrastructure solution.

  • Able to support the software configuration, PLC programming, application development, patch deployment and system integration testing.

  • Perform site testing and commissioning, and provide pre-sales and after-sales support with professional know-how and engineering knowledge

  • Provide support to clients and other team members for related Electrical Systems.

  • Assist the project manager to timely execute the project within budget

  • Manage project documentation and technical drawings in accordance with internal ISO system, safety, health, environmental and quality requirements

  • Support sales enquiry and / or variation in projects and working together with Project Manager for tender preparation

  • Comply with ISO9000, safety regulations and quality system within division

Responsibilities:
Individuals who meet the following requirements or possess the equivalent combination of competence and experience are invited to apply:

  • Degree holder in Electrical Engineering/ Building Services/ other equivalent disciplines

  • 3 years of working experience in energy automation/ smart grid/ EV load management/ PLC programming field is preferable. Promising candidate with less experience will be considered as System Support Engineer

  • Knowledge of EV Charging industry, particularly in Load Management and Software System will be advantage

  • Good communication skill and high initiative to take up challenges

  • Can work independently with customer focus

  • Well-versed in MS Office and AutoCAD applications

  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
