Senior Accountant

Duties:

• Responsible for the expense payment preparation, budget controlling and monitoring (including project payments in accordance with project budget)
• Responsible for organization and filing of all transaction records
• Preparation of the monthly payment summary to service provider for preparation of monthly management accounts
• Review of monthly management account prepared by administrators
• Responsible for the reconciliations with related companies
• Responsible for bank reconciliations and monitoring
• Review the quarterly reports prepared by administrator and liaise with project supervision team to ensure the reports are sent to LPs on time
• Coordinate with auditors, tax representatives and administrators to ensure reporting deadlines are met
• Responsible for book closing of the year end. To collect information from the Investment team on project expense that need to book accruals. Analyze and prepare the accrual list and prepayment list for the administrators to close the books for the year
• Prepare investor capital calls, distributions, financial reports and capital statements in a timely manner

 
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• CPA holder is preferred but not required
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in the Big 5 or fund administration/accounting of hedge and PE funds preferred
• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English including writing skills (Candidates with PRC background is preferred for proper Chinese writing skills)
• Strong communication skills, organizational skills and attention to details
• Immediate available is highly preferred
